Jo Cameron, a career HR manager, will star in the new series of The Apprentice, which starts tomorrow.

Cameron, who set up her own management training company after being made redundant by MG Rover following the car maker's collapse last year, will compete with 13 other hopefuls to win the chance to become Sir Alan Sugar's protege and earn a six-figure salary. Cameron, who has a masters in HR management, describes herself as "loopy and a bit mad".

She added: "I'm hard work. I'm high energy. Being with me all day will wear you out."
