B&Q employees have been rated among the most engaged in the world for the third time running, according to a global survey.
The home improvement retailer is one of only eight organisations worldwide to win the Gallup Great Workplace Award three times, and was the only UK business recognised. It scored an average of 4.23 our of 5 in the survey.
Liz Bell, HR director at B&Q said a plan to improve staff engagement levels at the firm launched four years ago has clearly paid off.
"We are always looking for new ways to communicate internally, so that every employee, no matter where they work, feels valued as a key part of the business.
Winning the Gallup award for the third time is a huge achievement for us and it is great to know that our initiatives are making a real difference."
