Seven members of staff at Swindon's Great Western Hospital suspended for playing the internet Lying Down Game have now returned to work.

The workers were pictured on Facebook lying down on resuscitation trollies, ward floors and a heli-pad.

To play the game, contestants must lie face down with the palms of their hands flat against their sides and the tips of their toes pointing at the ground. Contestants are awarded extra kudos for the more people involved and the more unusual and public the location.

Great Western Hospitals Trust said: "We're glad the staff are back doing what they do best. They need to understand unprofessional behaviour is unacceptable," a spokeswoman said.

"The trust has completed the disciplinary hearings for emergency department staff involved in the Lying Down Game. All staff are now back at work, there have been no dismissals."
