Edvantage group, an e-learning company and Managed Learning Service provider is celebrating its 10 year anniversary in 2009.

In 1999, Thomas Berglund, Edvantage group’s CEO, set up the company to provide e-learning solutions for large organisations, initially as a broker and aggregator of 3rd party e-learning content.

Over the last 10 years Edvantage group has evolved into one of Europe’s leading Managed Learning providers with the primary focus on e-learning solutions from bespoke to generic courses through to the SaaS based learning technologies for CourseBuilder, content authoring tool and Learning Gateway, Learning Management System.

With 10 offices in five countries, around 100 employees and many international blue-chip companies on the client list, Edvantage group is one of the fastest growing technologies companies in EMEA and have been recognised for the last two years in the Deloitte Fast 500 EMEA awards.

“Looking back the past 10 years at lot has happened”, says Thomas Berglund founder and CEO of Edvantage group. “10 years ago e-learning was very much in an experimental stage but now e-learning solutions are a natural strategic way forward for organisations to create a competitive advantage. Today many companies see the benefits and business case of e-learning, blended learning or social learning which is great for our industry and positions Edvantage group well for the future with our extensive Managed Learning Service approach.”

Berglund continues, “What I am most proud of are the customers we have the fortune working with today, the committed employees I have worked with the last 10 years and I’m looking forward to the next 10!”
