A new service has been launched to help NHS Trusts respond to the Department of Health’s new employee Health and Wellbeing agenda – and to benchmark their progress.
The unique NHS Health and Wellbeing service – developed by leading employee benefits provider NHS Discounts – has been designed to save Trusts time and money by providing a central hub of resources and benefits covering every aspect of employee health.
The service has been developed in response to the findings of the Boorman Review, which estimated that the NHS could save £555million by improving employee health and reducing absenteeism.
Barts and The London NHS Trust have already signed up to receive the service over the next three years, commencing April 2010.
