Tuesday 26 June 2012 15:33

The Low Pay Commission has launched its 2013 consultation seeking views on the national minimum wage.

As well as taking views on the level at which the minimum wage should be set from October 2013, the commission has been asked by the Government to focus on youth employment, with particular attention to apprenticeships.

The consultation closes on 17 September 2012 and the commission is due to report back to the Government by the end of February 2013.

XpertHR outlines the Low Pay Commission's consultation in detail.
