I'm enthused with HR teams' analytic tendencies..........

The last month has seen a spate of workshops and sessions using the HCM evaluator (VB-HR Rating engine). The sessions are where we present analysis back for HR teams to 'work-through'.

What is interesting is that in these sessions it is refreshing to see the HR teams engage in some full on interpretation of data and action planning. What is interesting is also the way in which individuals begin to ask more questions around the evidence and what it really means.....

To see it is an intrinsically rewarding moment for me/colleagues.

You see inside an HR person is an analyst with implementation tendencies trying to get out. Wow - if we can just harness this latent talent? There's a thing.....

And there is no better feeling in seeing a satisfied client (I don't use the naff term 'delighted').

It makes it all worthwhile. So the question for you out there in HR - are you going to come out and admit that you have analytical tendencies? Do you get excited in HR? Are you bored with a constant operational 'sweeping brush' focus? Do you want to visit far off places in people management?

I've seen the future and its a mixture of red, yellow, light green, dark green 'slices' and 'boxes' (well there's a bit more too it than that...).

My thanks to the clients who make it happen and want to make a difference!!!!!
