There have been yet more rumours regarding recruitment’s role in Facebook‘s future.
The latest of these is that the social media giant will launch a job board later this year. According to a news story on IT careers site FINS, “people familiar with the matter” have said there are firm plans in the pipeline, and a 2012 launch is on the cards – perhaps even as soon as August.
Facebook’s platform is already being leveraged by recruitment propositions, and according to the sources behind this leak, three of these – BranchOut, Jobvite and Work4Labs – will be involved in the new project.
However, nobody from Facebook, BranchOurt, JobVite or Work4Labs has so far been willing to confirm the speculation.
