Let me get this off my chest before I explode. I don't care about legal action, I just need to say...
... I DESPISE BT.
Not dislike, not "am mildly annoyed by", but truly, madly, deeply despise.
After they failed to turn up to sort out a phoneline problem at work 4 weeks ago, I have spent a total of nearly 12 hours trying to get through to the right department.
I've lost count of the number of times I've been transferred because their stupid automated system doesn't seem to want to connect me to the department I asked for.
As for the waiting times themselves, 90 minutes might be acceptable to some people but it certainly isn't to me, especially when it's taking up time I'd quite frankly rather use elsewhere. Such as gouging my own eyeballs out.
After 2 and a half hours of messing around this afternoon, I finally seem to have re-booked for them to visit us to sort the problem.
Come next Friday, if they fail to turn up again, I can't imagine what the mental torment is going to do to me.
And if I ever come across the woman who repeatedly apologises for the long delay, I won't be held responsible for what may come out of my mouth...
