A Woman Scorned

On Friday, myself and the rest of the HR team were treated to the rather amusing sight of one of our employees getting increasingly irate at our HR Manager.

What she obviously hoped would be a quick query was extended into something beautifully complex, thanks in no small part to some badly crossed wires.

Over the weekend, you would think that this would no longer be on anyones mind. I had certainly forgotten about it, which may be more to do with my weekend drinking habits than anything else.

However, our irate friend certainly had not, and so this morning, on my breakfast break, I was treated to a wonderful display of ignorance and truth-bending, as she told me and half of the canteen exactly what she thought of my boss.

How I didn't choke on my toast is quite a mystery.
