At the end of this month we have an external audit taking place at work.
The usual fun and games in the run up to this joyous occasion are very much in full swing at the moment.
Rather than get on with doing something vaguely worthwhile and fulfilling, most of us are bogged down in more paperwork than you can shake a stick at.
Every few months it is the same.
Our internal pre-auditors travel round every department and seem to take some sort of perverse joy in telling us that what we had all agreed on months ago is actually a load of rubbish.
Therefore, we spend the last few days before an audit desperately trying to re-write our internal documents to satisfy the audit requirements.
There's nothing like a bit of planning is there?
