3 years ago I entered the world of HR at my present company, with no real plans to be there longer than my initial 2 month assignment.
Since then, it's fair to say I have had my ups and downs with not only our department, but also the wider world of HR.
However, I have stuck with it and am enjoying things more than ever at the moment.
Furthermore, as of today, thanks to the departure of a colleague I am now the most experienced member of our department (from a company-specific perspective).
It's quite strange how these things pan out sometimes...
