Stress? Or a fixation with Jeremy Kyle?

For the past few weeks we have had an employee off work with non-work related stress.

During that time she has already refused to communicate verbally with us as she feels too stressed, and today she went even further in her efforts to refuse any help.

After referring her to our occupational health nurse to see if there is anything we can do to help her (counselling, etc), we had a letter from her today saying she could not possibly see the nurse due to her stress.

We have been trying our best to help, but seemingly she does not want to help herself.

One can only presume that she’s quite happy to keep getting signed off work by her Doctor. No doubt she’s enjoying putting her feet up watching Jeremy Kyle at home…
