A New Twist to Absence Problems

An interesting twist to our normal absence problems has become very apparent over the last few weeks.

At work we have a few migrant workers from Eastern Europe, and it has become clear that they seem to have a lack of faith in our health service.
Whether it is for a medical operation, or dental work, everyone seems to prefer paying for a flight home rather than relying on our health service.

This obviously adds to the time off that they require, which is becoming a serious concern.

It does, however, also raise question marks over the validity of the arguments that some people have made, claiming that immigrants are putting a strain on the NHS.

From what we've seen, 'Wizz Air' may be under some strain, but the NHS?
