Another day, another employment law seminar...

After an extended May Bank holiday break, I thought I would ease myself back in to work with another employment law seminar today.

Thankfully there were no mints to cause me problems at this event...

There was, however, lots of quite worrying information on the state of the new immigration system that is due to come in to play in October.

Seemingly, everything is still a bit up in the air and no one quite knows when it is going to be sorted.

It could be tomorrow, it could be next month.

Should I really be surprised that such an important change with potentially massive implications for our company is being handled this way?

Probably not.
