The weather outside is great, the temperature inside is cool thanks to the male win in the air con war, but not everything is rosy at work at the moment.
Every 6 months we have an external audit at work, a nightmare time for all concerned.
The next audit is next month, so today we had our first meeting on where we stand within the department in terms of being ready for the audit.
As usual, the answer is 'nowhere near'.
Some newer members of our department seem somewhat shaken by this, and ready to move to panic stations.
I will probably get there in a couple of weeks. However, having seen it all before, and been in far worse states even on the day of an audit, I can't get too worked up about it at the moment.
Especially with the sun shining outside...
