News reaches Guru from Disciple Caroline that two of the nation's beloved un-PC coppers have been behaving very badly indeed.
Rather than taking the customary route of releasing their pent-up agression on the nearest member of the public, it seems two Rozzers in Wales have taken to acting like the Slag Brothers from hit Seventies children's TV show the Wacky Races and have been taking it out on themselves.
And like the cartoon cavemen, they fell out over who should be the driver of their very own 'bouldermobile'.
It turns out that PC Byron (you couldn't make this up) Emerson-Thomson saw red when his colleague, PC Aled Bartlett would not hand over the keys to the van after a new radio had been fitted.
During the ensuing argument over who would drive the van first, our poetic throwback lost it and is alleged to have spilt tea over his fellow officer in a bid to make him see the error of his key-holding ways. To emphasise how hurt his feelings were, our double-barreled bully wiped tea-soaked paper towels down his colleague's uniform before 'shoving them in his face'.
Unimpressed by this Byronical onslaught, PC Bartlett apparently launched a two-litre water bottle at the chest of his chum. However, the 'quick witted' cop caught the bottle before landing a swift left hook to Barlett's 'eyebrow'.
All very shocking. However, Yours Truly can reveal that such behaviour among the Rozzer ranks is nothing new and the police force has always had a... erm... challenging relationship with the general public.
Back in 1829, just four hours after his installation as the first ever Peeler, PC Number One was sacked for being drunk and disorderly. Four years on from that, when a police constable was stabbed to death during a political protest, there were cheers when the murderer got off and the judge awarded medals to the jury for coming to such a top decision.
Back then, the public could not see the point of a police force that consisted of reprobates and bullies and it took years for the force to establish some kind of authority.
It's good to see the Welsh force is keen to uphold this fine tradition.
It is not clear who got to drive the van.

This is what happens when you allow the police to leave their desk/office....anarchy... why were they allowed out in the first place, thus putting the general public at risk....(not to mention who is issuing crime numbers?) its taken enough time to get them all off the streets in the first place.
