Email overload just got worse with HassleMe

April 22, 2008

Microsoft Outlook CalendarIf like Guru you treat your Microsoft Outlook Calendar with disdain than look no further than HassleMe.co.uk.

It's great for separating the run-of-the-mill Microsoft Outlook Calendar reminders from more important - and occasional - things such as buying Mrs Guru flowers, phoning mother Guru, and having a flutter at the betting shop.

This single-page site allows you to insert your email address and then get hassled at "semi-unpredictable intervals" by email to do something important.

Guru's spiteful side immediately thought of inserting certain colleagues' email addresses into the field but it appears a confirmation email will be sent. If you add more than one email address HassleMe will pick one person at random for each hassle — good for offices!

Thank you disciple Bill for submitting this one.

About Guru

Guru is Personnel Today's notorious HR commentator. He's been working in HR for far too long and observes every passing management fad with a mixture of anger and amusement. His blog is the one thing saving his long-suffering wife, Mrs Guru, from having to endure too much of his ranting about the big HR stories of the day.
