'News' reaches Guru of the latest trend to emerge from the recession - blonde women dyeing their hair.
That's right, blondies are going brunette in an attempt to be taken more seriously at work.
A survey by Superdrug - that well known commentator on workplace issues - found one in three female employees with light-coloured hair have made the decision to adopt a more sober shade.
The study also found 62% of people think brunettes look more professional than blondes in the workplace. And almost one in four blondes also believe their hair colour has held them back in their career in the past.

Don't know why you're smiling love, no-one takes you seriously
What a load of rubbish, the fact they are women has held their career back, not the colour of their hair.
Blondes are said to have more fun, and the survey goes on to prove that. Apparently one in five blondes admitted to having sex in a field. Guru wondered what that strange noise was last time he went for a picnic.
In other blonde news, the European Commission has warned that spies are in its midst, who may be "a pretty trainee with long legs and blonde hair".
A note to HR staff at the commission gave advice on the recruitment of non-EU nationals and warned that the espionage threat was increasing all the time.
Come on ladies, if you want to be taken seriously as a spy, you need to change your hair colour!

Give me a break! It's the brunettes - bleached to blonde that are going back to their natural haircolor. I'm a blonde in the professional work place and it's never held me back. If people don't take me seriously because I'm a blonde then they just have a little surprise coming don't they? Total rubbish.
