Guru admires his taking of the high ground - in this case mount Sinai - but questions his motives.
Has Mr Smith seen the light? Does the Donut want to make the religious feel bad? Is he implying that most layabout do-nothings have not been troubling the workplace on account of spending too much time doing the Lord's work?
It's deep stuff. And the fact that TopBishop Hairy O'Williams has branded the welfare reform plans as unworkable only adds to Yours Truly's suspicion that Dunkin Duncan wants the top job at Lambeth Palace.
Guru would respectfully remind the minister that taking over from the Hairy Bishop is his own destiny and not just because the job comes with a handily placed central London palace.
Of course, branding the workshy as religious sinners will pose problems for job centre staff up and down the land as they struggle to reconcile the needs of the many with the needs of the few - well, just the one really, being kind of omnipotent.
Although Yours Truly can sense that they'll just do what they've always done and simply pass the problem on to the nearest HR department - to see if they can avoid falling foul of the Equality Act while giving all the jobs to those touched by the hand of God.
