Facebook is as good as a CV

February 22, 2012

Your Facebook profile can tell employers how good you are going to be at your job, according to research from Northeastern Illinois University reported by the Daily Mail.

The research found that impressions taken from candidates' Facebook pages were later found to be accurate after six months of employment. The Mail goes on to say that the "findings come amid reports that employers could ask candidates for their Facebook passwords".

Guru can confirm that employers could ask for candidates' Facebook passwords. Employers could also ask candidates to take off all their clothes and write down their credit card details on a post-it note, but rather like the previous notion, just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.
