To publicise this year's National Learning at Work Day organiser Campaign for Learning is asking celebs and MPs which one skills they'd like to acquire. We have some suggestions.
Ever eager to big up the 2008 National Learning at Work Day - it's on May 22 - the Campaign for Learning plans to ask celebs and MPs which skill they'd like to acquire.
This will be used to publicise a win a skill competition the CfL says it will run. Entrants will say what one skill they'd like to learn and winners will - hey presto - get the opportunity to learn that skill free of charge.
To help ease the process here are some skills suggestions for celebs and MPs:
- Amy Winehouse - crack pipe design
- Mohammed al-Fayed - conspiracy theory creativity
- Natasha Kaplinsky - reading aloud
- Alistair Darling - eyebrow maintenance
- Kevin Keegan - expectation setting for beginners
- Jack Nicholson - snogging for 70-year olds
- Gordon Brown - counting to (number) 10
- Call me Dave Cameron - pretending to be ordinary
- Nick Clegg - how to raise your profile.
You think this is daft? Last year CfL asked celebs what they'd wanted to be when they were chidlren. Ricky Gervais said scientist, miniser Caroline Flint wanted to be a ballerina, while truly scrumptious Fern Britton wanted to be a dolphin trainer.
