CIPD 2008 | Talking Talent keynote live blog

Channel 4 news presenter Jon Snow will address HR delegates in today's final keynote speech at the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) conference. He will be joined by president of the CIPD Vicky Wright, ASDA's HR director David Smith, Liane Hornsey, the HR director at Google, group HR director at BT Alex Wilson and Satish Pradhan, executive vice president of HR at Tata Sons to debate what the key issues are for anyone working in HR today.

They'll discuss what HR strategies can make the most difference to an organisation - and how those strategies can be best understood.

I'll be live blogging during the speech to bring you the best bits of what's said, and give you a feel for what's going on in the giant auditorium.
