I am the online news editor on Personnel Today magazine, having recently survived a six month honeymoon period.

I am responsible for getting news content online as quickly as I can say my name, and I also provide the odd news story and feature article for the weekly magazine.

I am the token South African in a team that delivers the weekly Personnel Today podcast – on a Friday, so listen out for the accent.

I have eight years experience as a business journalist, across both print and online media. I have covered a range of different markets including the riveting world of pensions, mortgages and personal finance, online business news, and exhibitions and events.

The sectors I specifically focus on include:

• Financial and professional services
• Media/online
• Transport and travel
• Property

Outside of work I still play rugby for a local club (while the knees hold up) and I am a keen follower of Liverpool FC and of course my beloved Springboks. I enjoy getting out and about as much as possible, mainly to escape the hustle and bustle of London life and that includes getting in the odd round of golf.
