I am the group deputy production editor for the Personnel Today portfolio, which includes Personnel Today, Personneltoday.com, and sister titles Training & Coaching Today, Occupational Health, and Employers’ Law.

My day-to-day job involves checking and proofing news stories and features, both for print and online, as well as laying out pages and writing headlines and picture captions. I am actively involved in Personnel Today’s Work Clinic blog, with particular interest in career advice and counselling, as well as diversity issues.

I qualified as a journalist from the London College of Printing in 1998, and I went on to work for local newspapers in south London and Surrey before joining Personnel Today in 2002.

Outside of work I enjoy watching sports, especially football and rugby, travelling – I’m off to South Africa next year – and spending time with family and friends.
