I am a senior reporter on Personnel Today magazine, and edit the news section of its sister title Employers’ Law.

My remit is to keep up-to-date with HR and business news across public, private and voluntary sectors, with particular focus on police and emergency services, retail, graduates/education, catering/hospitability and social care.

I am especially interested in diversity issues, sustainability and the government’s skills agenda, and write the odd feature delving deeper into said topics.

You might also catch me speaking on the Personnel Today Friday podcast, talking about the top stories I’ve come across that week and inviting listeners’ comments.

Outside of work I love to travel any place new; so far I’ve been to Africa, Russia, Australia, the US… am working on the rest!
