I am the deputy editor on Personnel Today magazine.

I have responsibility for overseeing the smooth running of the weekly magazine, commissioning opinion pieces and editing and developing content across both print and online.

I also occasionally try my hand at writing features, profile pieces and contributing to the weekly Personnel Today podcast – with, it has to be said, varying degrees of coherence.

I am a business journalist with nine years’ experience in both print and online media across several different markets, including the exciting worlds of facilities management and contract cleaning.

The sectors I continue to have an interest in terms of news are: NHS, local government, construction and the wider public sector.

Outside of work I am an AFC Wimbledon fan (but also enjoy watching proper football) and a huge armchair cricket fan. I have a young son who keeps me busy at weekends and my dream is of 10 hours uninterrupted sleep.
