Free eLearning to make charities smile

The Charity Learning Consortium is aiming to spread a little happiness, by making all of its eLearning absolutely, completely free for the whole of Adult Learners' Week, including Learning at Work Day on 17 May, to all charities and not for profits working in the voluntary sector.

Charities are once again set to benefit from free access to the organisational-wide eLearning on offer from The Charity Learning Consortium, in support of Adult Learners' Week (14-18 May) including National Learning at Work Day on 17 May.

Last year more than 80 charities and not-for-profits working in the voluntary sector made the most of the complimentary eLearning for their organisations - and this year the Consortium hopes to welcome even more.

The 180 courses in the Consortium's suite include a wide range of health and safety training; desktop IT skills; courses to boost expertise in people management and soft skills like communication - so there really is something for everyone.

Martin Baker, founder and CEO of The Charity Learning Consortium commented: "It's been a particularly tough time for charities, so I'm delighted to be able to throw open our eLearning suite for the week to support them, and the development of essential skills in the voluntary sector."

Charities and not for profit organisations working in the voluntary sector interested in free access to the Charity Learning Consortium's courses for Adult Learners' Week can either register online or email their request to Melanie Wenban, Customer Care Co-ordinator: mwenban@charitylearning.org by 9 May latest. The Consortium will set up a charity pass, which will enable all staff within nominated Third Sector organisations to self register and log on.
