Blake Lapthorn, one of the leading law firms in the UK, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Wilson as a partner in its Employment practice group.
Mike, who is formerly partner and Head of Office for Clarke Willmott in Southampton, is an experienced Employment Law solicitor and specialises in all aspects of the law in this area, acting for employers and senior executives. He undertakes his own advocacy at employment tribunal and court, and also has specific expertise in the social housing sector.

The firm's Employment team continues to act for a wide range of clients and I hope that the expertise and contacts I bring will enable Blake Lapthorn to see continued growth in this particular area of its business."

During this period, Tim and his team have enabled the Employment team to enjoy significant growth in terms of existing and prospective client successes on the south coast.
Max Craft, Head of Blake Lapthorn's Employment team, commented: "On behalf of both the Employment team and the firm, I am delighted to welcome Mike to Blake Lapthorn. Mike brings with him in-depth expertise and knowledge of acting for clients with regards to Employment law, which will enable us to enhance the firm's offering in this area as we continue to strive to be the firm of choice for our clients."
Mike's appointment is effective from May 2012.
