Together Housing Group Awards Pilat HR Solutions Job Evaluation Contract

UK public sector continues to find Gauge® job evaluation as the pragmatic choice

Pilat HR Solutions, a premier provider of human capital management technology and professional services, announced today they have been contracted by Together Housing Group for job evaluation software and services.

Together Housing Group (TGH) was established in April 2011 following the coming together of three housing groups, Trans-Pennine Housing, Chevin Housing and Prospect Homes. This resulted in TGH having approximately 1250 staff managing around 35,000 homes affecting over 50,000 people spread across a large geographical area in the North of England. The Group is a leading provider of quality, affordable and modern homes for rent.

The merging of the three groups, coupled with future organisational adjustments including changes to existing jobs and the creation of new jobs, presented the need for a cohesive job evaluation strategy, resulting in opening a tender in March 2012. The specification given by THG was to create a pay and grading structure equitable to all employees of the separate companies and to provide greater clarity on the career paths available within THG.

THG awarded Pilat this contract based on Pilat's successful bid in favour of two other suppliers, where it included the provision of its web-based job evaluation software, Gauge®. Gauge® ensures objectivity and supports careful moderation, pay banding and costing. Gauge® is currently being used by other housing associations such as Wakefield and Incommunities, as well as many other clients in both the public and private sectors.
