I'm sure it will be included in Lee's information but key areas to look at when costing recruitment and in particular looking at failed recruitment 1; Lack of productivity of employee in the run up to them handing in their notice and then working their notice. 2; Recruitment hard costs suchs as agency fees, advertising etc 3; Cost of working with a member of staff who is not up to speed 4; Cost of repeating all of this if the recruitment ends up being incorrect. There are matrices to use but remember the very real people cost, the lack of motivation as people leave, and making sure that you learn from their departure and don't have the next recruit leaving for the same reason.
