The jury still seems to be out on whether shared service arrangements are good or bad. Does anyone have experience of success criteria for such ventures and views on the essential things to get right if the shared service centre was being set up from scratch?

I have a booklet which you may find interesting.

Drop me an e-mail at mkrjk@btinternet.com

Hi Karen

I'd be interested in the booklet, we're in the process of moving from part-shared services to deveoping further so any information you have would be great. I can e-mail you direct if that's easier?

Hi,

West Midlands Police are in the process of setting up an HR Shared Service Unit.  I am interested in visiting a successful Service Unit to give me some idea of the pitfalls involved.  Would anyone have any contacts or leads for businesses that may be able to assist?

Thanks,

John
