| I have just been made redundant and have a strong background in HR systems - PeopleSoft and SAP. I live in the Midlands and wondered if anyone knows of any companies that use HR systems above so I can apply there? | |||

| The HR Systems role is one which is quite flexible, you usually put yourself out of a job due to the work you are which involve improving processes and systems, thus with the possibility of reducing the number of people required in HR. Anyway... there are actually quite a few companies advertising for roles at the moment, must be something in the water. The majority are actually advertised through PersonnelToday, therefore search the web site if you have not done so already. In addition to this, you could get a list of customers that use the systems that you experience of, and just check out their websites. Otherwise the usual methods of sourcing jobs apply! | |||

Hi Vicky, In my last two corporate roles I have been a 'Head of Recruitment', although in the last year I have set up my own HR Search & Selection firm - Peak Talent (I am based out of the Peak District). In the past, I have had a number of systems firms implement their solutions into my functions - now in turn I am working on behalf of one of them, to source 'consultants', 'account managers' and 'system implementors'.
