Hi,

is there anyone out there that has come across interesting recent articles on advances in on-line recruitment?
I would welcome any links to publications or articles as I am conducting research into this fast emerging segment of the market

Try the following articles about www.recruitcop.com a new website that enforces a code of practice to help prevent amongst other things fake advertising or miss-selling of a job. Seems to be getting a lot of publicity in the IT sector where agency miss-selling of jobs is very high.

This may be slightly late for you but it may be worthwhile having a chat with Royal Mail. Outside of the NHS they are probably the largets employer with 20,000 hires a year (an an extra 20,000 at Xmas). They have recently implemented a new Web based recruitment solution so that all new hires, irrespective of source and brought in to their own web site. Most roles then undergo an on-line psychometric test with only a small % then going through to the next round of selection - cuts out 80% of the dross and allows them to concentrate on those that are more likkely to get a job!


Their Head of Recruitment recently has a spread in the Telegraph - might be useful for you?
