I met a gentleman last year who does just that. His name is Eyal Ben Cohen and he is Google-able - I just checked. Good luck with that. let me know what you think.

I was hoping not to pay for this service (don't we all!!!); further, I was wondering if there is such a site which may list "undesirables" - sort out the wheat from the chaff before you hire them. i.e those who are vocal/disruptive in the workplace etc.

I think that you might not be taking a very realistic view of this - background checks for free, or a site where 'undesirables' are listed - that would be a risky undertaking for whoever ran it - lawsuits galore I'd guess from aggrieved parties! Like lots of things in this world you get what you pay for - there are a good many companies which will carry out background checks, but they will want to be paid for the service!

I used a company to Validate my own CV and I found it a good service. The company was www.cvinsight.co.uk Good luck.
