Hi there,

I am just starting to write a course on advanced communication to be delivered to senior managers. I want to make it a bit different but find myself  falling into the usual trap of starting the powerpoint slide, popping in my ice breaker and following a standard format.  I would like to break the mould and do something really memorable this time!  I want to challenge peoples' comfort zones whether that be with how I arrange the environment or deliver the information.  Does anyone have an ideas on how to make training more impactive?

Look forward to hearing from you,

Diane

Hi Diane

I'd think about using NLP in your course - it's excellent for developing advanced communication skills by improving people's emotional intelligence and giving them powerful listening, influencing and negotiation tools applicable in the work place.

You could use some really interesting, fun body language and speech exercises to really embed learning.

Thanks Peter,  I will have a look at NLP.  Any tips on what exercises have worked for you?

Thanks

Diane
