I am currently investigating the market for online assessments - for example regulated activity such Health and Safety training. Rather than as a replacement for a face to face programme the method I am proposing is an enhancement using our eQdos platform to assess and monitor knowledge retention and provide quantifiable data to prove understanding and prevent potential corporate liability. Not only can a company take advantage of programmes we offer via the system but they can additionally upload their own training material. I am looking at a system of pay as you go rather than the generic high investment level normally attributed to such e-learning systems. If you wish to know more about my company offering please review my site at www.calx.uk.com or contact me directly for further information. |

As a pre-curser to Health and Safety training how do people identify their training needs? Are these looked at in an isolated way or in a strategic way. I have found the acronym PRIME PRACTICE valuable as a framework for health and safety and needs analysis. In the same way that SWOT and PESTLE provide a framework for business planning PRIME PRACTICE provides a structure in which health and safety can be fully integrated to the 'way we do business'. E-Learning Have others found e-learning for the delivery of health and safety training to be of benefit? What is your experience? What H&S matters would you put on to an e-learning platform and what would you not? |
