Graduate Schemes Jonathan Gallie 13/07/2007 16:39

I have just been offered a position on a HR Graduate Scheme which consists of CIPD training together with 1 -2 years working in various departments throughout the organisation before gaining a substantive post.

How do organisations percieve graduates applying for positions who have been through such a scheme?

I am thinking about if and when the time comes to move on, I am aware that salaries on Grad scheme's go up quickly and I wondered how this affects job hunting after a Graduate scheme?

Any advice from Graduates or HR Resource Managers would be appreciated.

Jon
