Has anyone set SMART objectives for Receptionists?  If so, can you provide any examples as it is proving difficult to set objectives which are truly measurable.

There must be some industry standards around things like speed of answering the phone.

However, I'd suggest that the more your Receptionists are encouraged to create the objectives, the more likely they are to really take them to heart.

Hi

while not giving you specifics about SMART objectives you can find performance criteria at the sector skills site http://www.ssda.org.uk/

generic sites with SMART objective templates include:

http://www.rapidbi.com/created/WriteSMARTobjectives.html

and http://www.businessballs.com/freeonlineresources.htm
