Hi,

Could someone please advise?  I know that as a host employer, we're responsible for DSE assessment for any agency workers we have on site.  However, what's not clear is who has responsibility for any actions identified.

i.e. If an agency worker self-assesses that they need a different chair, are we implying an employment relationship if we a) ask our Occ Health Dept to reassess and confirm the situation, and b) then supply the chair ourselves?  Or should we simply pass the results of the assessment onto the agency and ask them to provide the necessary corrective equipment?

The Regulations seem quite clear on the assessment responsibility, but don't seem to give any guidance on actually implementing it.

Many thanks!
