Hi SJ,

First, let me declare an interest - the company I work for supplies the system I'm about to suggest.

I won't go into a lot of detail here since it would be unfair to use this forum as an advertising space(!).  Briefly though, it's a way to reduce fraud and/or theft by not recruiting fraudsters & thieves in the first place (and no, it's not a background check).   If you're interested, drop me a line and I'll explain more.  Good luck,

Charlie

I agree with Charlie's suggestion to protect yourselves by preventing fraudsters becoming employees.

If, like assessment experts, you believe that potential employees' most recent behaviours are the most reliable predictors of future behaviours, you should consider including an onus on hiring managers to robustly screen potential employees.

I would also include a policy that allows you to register any fraudster you discover in your organisation on a "dismissal register".  I can point you in the direction of a great register if you're interested.

Good luck!

David Chernick
