Dear all I have been off work for a few months. My doctor signed me off until November 07 at which point things took a turn for the worse. Especially in terms of how I dealt with the problem. Anyway, I have a gap in sick notes. November and December 07. I have recently been back to the GP who has signed me off again for January but wouldn't back date anything although it is the same diagnosis. This is classed by HR as being absent without leave and I will not be paid anything as of Jan 07 (although I have been up to this point on 75%) unless they have these sick notes. This has far reaching consequences as I'm sure you can imagine. Has anyone an idea of the options here? I am now seeing a company counsellor and want to get a back to work strategy sorted. Thanks in advance for any help here.! |
