I need advise on what should be included in a termination package?  If we are not requiring them to work their notice and are paying them in lieu of notice, should that also include payments in lieu of any benefits they would have benefited from during their notice period - i.e. bonuses, medical, annual leave etc? 


Any help on this would be much appreciated

The early termination of a contract would require you to compensate the employee for any benefits or entitlements they would have accrued /earned had they been allowed to work their notice.

Would benefits they would have accrued/earned had they been allowed to work their notice, also include holiday accrued in the notice period and car allowances?

Benefits would include any contractual and/or statutory rights i.e. holiday and car allowances.
