Hi, I'm also trying to break into HR and have been finding it a bit difficult so far. I have a background in recruitment in Financial Services and although recruiters are happy to send my details down to companies, there aren't that many roles out there at the moment and I was wondering if there were any other means of getting into Financial Services. I have approached a few people directly but would appreciate any guidance on where to look for roles and who I should be speaking to. I graduated with a 2:1 in Psychology and Sociology and plan on starting my CIPD as soon as possible once I am in an HR role. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Katy |
