I was a cleaner for a few months before being given an office administrator/supervisor role within the cleaning firm. My wage was adjusted to suit and I have been in this role over a year. I have just found out that the firm is being sold and that my employer has advised the purchaser that I was a cleaner who now answers phone's. This potential purchaser has asked my current employer if I would mind becoming a cleaner again. I believe he is likely to advise them that I wont mind though he has not consulted me about this. I would 'mind'. This would prove very awkward having spent the last year giving the cleaners their orders. I only know of this because his emails go to a colleage's PC. What are my options???? |
