Hi, I was dismissed on the 28th of Febuary 2008, I sent my right to appeal letter back with 5 days of this date. They sent me a letter on the 14th March, saying my appeal would be heard on the 17th March in a store which is 15miles away from my house , the store I worked in was only 2 miles. However on 17th March was a date I was on Hoilday and this was booked as annual leave during my time with New Look, so i cancelled and they said they would provide me with a new date. I am still waiting , they have not confirmed how much money they owe me or when it will be paid to me , and they are not replying to correspondents , i am sending via e-mail. What can I do?

Hi There I would advise you to write to them and send it recorded delivery/special delivery so there is proof of delivery. I run a HR function at Head Office level and we would never respond to emails of this sensitive nature, we would always advise to put it in writing to us due to the sensitive nature. Write a letter explaining your concerns about the appeal and your salary etc. I hope this helps. Kind regards HRD
