I am currently undertaking a research project as part of my MSc in E-Learning. I’m exploring   the question of whether or not it is possible to build a truly effective learning community using solely online methods, i.e. to develop working relationships, to get a sense of personalities or cultivate your own, and to really engage with each other and share ideas.


I’d be really grateful for any input you may have, whether that just be an opinion on the matter, or if you have had any positive or negative experiences with online communities.
