HI I have an employee who is going on maternity leave in july and her fixed term contract ends in aug. Does she still qualifty for holiday during her maternity leave and does her contract end on the date she is meant to return from maternity leave, thats if we dont extend it at a later date. Help please

Hi George Annual leave entitlement continues to accrue during ordinary maternity leave. Fixed term contracts end on the date specified on the contract. There are statutory procedures to follow before the end of a fixed term contract and if you want to email me with the specifics of your situation, then I will help you with that. Rgds Peter
