In my case, there is no selection pool (despite there is a team doing the work) or criteria applied. The work I do is still required but they argued they can be someone cheaper to do the work. I was not offered alternative roles although the company still advertise.
I appealed and now was asked for basis for my appeal. I want to know if  I should play to win (ie states all my points which I could use in Tribunal and thereby led out out my points) or play to lose (the appeal is just a procedure for me before going to Tribunal). I am not interested to be reinstated/reengaged by the company after their hostile treatment. I don't see any future there.
The way I see it, it's a win-win for the company (mind you this is a multinational company with reputation at risk here):
1. few sex discriminated individuals would appeal (statistically 3%).
2. Even if they do, company can reinstate/reengage them- (hey no harm in trying to avoid paying maternity package!)
Can anyone help me, please? What should I do?
