Hi, If a person takes a career break immediately after maternity leave without returning to work is the career break classed as continuous service for the purpose of receiving benefits such as share options (which only mature after a certain period)? Does it depend on the policy of individual employers or does an employee have a legal right to continuous service and therefore the benefits associated with this? Thanks |
